“I strive to be a strong role model for my kiddo. To show him to persevere and fight when you can, and to accept your condition and forgive yourself on the days you simply can’t. I have found that being active really helps with inflammation and my Crohn’s symptoms, so I try to squeeze in at least 30 minutes of activity a day. The activity I choose depends on how I’m feeling.
“My advice is to be kind to yourself and don’t let a couple bad days kill your motivation. Living with a chronic disease is challenging enough, staying positive is really important.”
